Ariel Gail

Professor Gail S. Goodman teaches psychology at the University of California Davis. She is also the Director of the Center for Public Policy Research. It is believed that she was the one responsible with establishing the current study of memory recall by eyewitnesses, and children as witnesses. Her publications are numerous and she has been awarded numerous grants and is the recipient of many honors international and national levels. She consults with numerous nations and organizations around the world on policies and research on children's victimization within the court system. Additionally, she provides consultant for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center. (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) and is a part of Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is a member of many professional organizations including The Association for Psychological Science and the American Psychological Association (Divisions Experimental Psychology Developmental Psychology Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues Society for Child and Family Policy and Practice American Psychology-Law Society Psychological Psychology of women and trauma stress 56). Professor Goodman also belongs to the Psychonomics Society as well as the American Professional Society for the Abuse of Children and International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She was the president of the American Psychological Association's Developmental Psychology Division and Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Society for Family and Child Policies and Practice.
